10 Biggest Box Office Bombs Of 2015 (So Far)
9. Unfinished Business
Estimated Losses: $20-25m
Remember a decade ago when Vince Vaughn was one of the biggest names in Hollywood comedy? In the years since, the actor has remained contently in his wheelhouse, churning out instantly-forgettable studio efforts like Couples Retreat, The Dilemma, The Watch, The Internship and Delivery Man to increasingly diminishing critical and commercial results. Unfortunately, Vaughn's losing streak continued with this poor excuse for a comedy.
Despite boasting a talented supporting cast including Tom Wilkinson, Dave Franco, Sienna Miller, Nick Frost and James Marsden, Unfinished Business is a virtually laugh-free environment hampered by a wildly uneven tone full of crude and forced humor, that makes for another black mark on Vince Vaughn's downward-spiraling filmography.
Unfinished Business tanked at the box office, opening in tenth place with an opening weekend of just $4.8m, despite opening in over 2700 theaters, and quickly vanished without a trace. The $35m-budgeted movie ended its theatrical run with a worldwide total of just $13.6m, edging its lead star's big-screen career closer to life support in the process.
