2. Mr Wint And Mr Kidd (Diamonds Are Forever)
MGMThese two are in many ways among the best Bond villains, understated, capable of killing in a variety of different ways. In particular via deadly scorpion, time-bomb and our particular favourite - by submerging in a pool up to your nose so you drown as slowly as possible. As assassins for Blofeld in Diamonds Are Forever, they're tasked with murdering the members of a diamond smuggling ring and getting the proceeds to Blofeld. The pair are probably among the Bond series' weirdest villains, with their chemistry and sadistic pleasure in killing having decidedly sexual undertones.
Why They're So Stupid Because while allowing Bond to escape by not ensuring that he's dead once be forgivable the first time - after all, a villain may not know just quite how dangerous 007 is. However, twice twice is just daft. Once you've seen him escape from a coffin about to be placed into a furnace, you'd think that you'd make certain of killing Bond a second time.
Dumbest Moment Placing Bond in a length of pipeline about to be buried outside Las Vegas rather than killing him when he was unconscious and at their mercy. Oh, and failing to kill him a third time due to wearing too much cologne.
