The Amazing Spider-Man 3 Wishlist: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. Norman Osborn Reappears

For a character of Norman Osborn€™s importance in Spider-Man lore, the character's appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was incredibly brief - and to use a great actor like Chris Cooper for such a small role is just weird. In the movie, Osborn's body succumbed to the hereditary illness that this franchise€™s Osborn family inherit and he quickly went from being a decrepit, bed-bound invalid to being deceased. However, Osborn had almost unlimited resources available to him which could potentially resurrect him and, if there was anything at Oscorp's disposal that Norman could have used to potentially undo his death, he would have arranged that while he was alive. Moreover, scenes emerged after the movie's release of deleted scenes in which Osborn's head is clearly being stored cryogenically - could the powerful businessman, for example, use Curt Connors' perfected serum to grow a new body?? Who knows how he'll do it, but expect him to return - not as a member of the Sinister Six, but as some kind of mentor to the team, as his son is the Green Goblin in this continuity.
