The Amazing Spider-Man International Trailer Offers New Footage

Sony Pictures have debuted new snippets of footage from The Amazing Spider-Man in a newly released Japanese international trailer. Although very similar to the domestic trailer that was released back in February, the new reel offers something a little darker and fast-paced, showing off the action and drama of the new origin tale. Sony are just desperate for you to believe this film is darker than the previous Sam Raimi trilogy and that there is a new story in the offing here. You can watch the latest trailer below; Directed by Marc Webb (5oo Days of Summer), the reboot of Sony's biggest superhero franchise stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field. Sony Pictures will release The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters everywhere on July 3rd, 2012. Less than three months to go now until release!
