The Avengers 2: 5 Qualities We Need To See From Captain America

2. Wielding Thor€™s Hammer

Okay I€™m cheating a little bit here. This one is more of a want instead of a need. How awesome would it be for casual viewers to see Captain America wielding Mjolnir? Comic fans would know he could and they would just brush it off (secretly geeking out inside). But it can€™t be him just picking it up. It has to be an amazing sight to behold. It has to be the moment when Cap is close to death or losing. I propose that he wields it in the final battle. If Thanos is the villain, then Cap should fight him with the hammer. Like I said earlier, this is Cap€™s final stand against Thanos. Everyone is incapacitated or busy with another enemy, only Cap and his shield are left. Thanos either destroys the shields or throws it far away. Cap is on his knees with no way to defend himself or fight back. Thanos is ready to land the final strike suddenly he is hit by an unknown force. He looks at Cap and sees Mjolnir in his hand. From there Cap holds him off as best as he can until someone finds a way to defeat Thanos. If it's a different villain then Cap should defeat him with the hammer. Not only would it prove Cap is a badass to the casual viewers who only know him from the movies, it would also strengthen the bond between Thor and Cap.
