The Avengers Vs. Avengers: Infinity War - Which Is Better?

15. Direction

Though Joss Whedon did a fantastic job bringing The Avengers together for their first outing, it's fair to say that the movie's direction is one of its weakest aspects.

Whedon, who is better-versed in the world of TV, tends to stick to fairly uninspired shot selections that feel like they belong in a TV show (that awesome money shot of the team aside, of course).

The Russos, meanwhile, have a far more ambitious canvas to work with, and having cut their teeth on two prior Captain America movies, feel far more at home with the cinematic scope of Infinity War.

Winner: Infinity War, without question. The Russos' craft matches the majesty of the production, whereas Whedon seems rather like he's punching above his weight.
