The Batman: 5 Stories That Could Influence Ben Affleck's Solo Movie
4. Deep Throat
In Deep Throat, Slade Wilson is Batman... Kind of.
He'd been impersonating Batman for a while, feeding The Outsiders information - just wanting to destroy his competition. In the book, it's Roy Harper (Arsenal) that gets into an entirely one-sided fight with Deathstroke, but as previously mentioned - we don't need an Arsenal if there's already a Nightwing in the DCEU.
Just imagine for a second that the Batman we meet in act 1 of the movie is even more vicious and brutal than the Batman in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, he's practically a bad guy. For almost the whole first half of the film, it could be Slade Wilson under the cowl until Nightwing shows up in a losing effort to stop him. At some point, of course Bruce would have to make his triumphant return and obviously beat Deathstroke to a bloody pulp.
As with all of the choices in the list, Ben Affleck's Batman movie won't be a straight adaptation of Deep Throat, but I for one would love to see Joe Manganiello's Slade Wilson imitating Batman on the big screen.
