The Batman: Every Character Confirmed So Far (And 5 Rumoured Ones)

Following Tommy Lee Jones and Aaron Eckhart in the past, Matt Reeves is rumoured to be looking to add Two-Face to The Batman. Up there with some of the most infamous and unique villains DC has to offer, this character would be a huge addition to the movie.

With the confirmation of Peter Sarsgaard now playing Gil Colson, Warner Bros may have hoped to see the Two-Face rumour fade away, but fans aren't convinced in the slightest, believing this could simply be a ruse to throw audiences off the scent. Or perhaps the super villain's backstory and real name has been changed for the movie. This kind of creative liberty has been taken before in comic book movies, so why not again?

Alternatively, since Colson will be the District Attorney for Gotham, a post that Harvey Dent has held in the past, there could easily be a connection between the two, even if Sarsgaard isn't playing Two-Face himself.

Finally, if the character is indeed inspired by Gil Mason from the Animated Series, there could be another connection, since Mason was a corrupt police officer on the payroll of none other than Two-Face himself.
