9. The Movie Takes Inspiration From Batman: Zero Year
When The Batman was shooting in London, Robert Pattinson was spotted on a motorbike wearing some tatty looking tactical gear. That's quite the departure from the suave billionaire playboy fans known and love from the comics.
The photo immediately brought back memories of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's "Zero Year," a storyline that followed Bruce Wayne in his earliest days as Gotham City's superhero. Visually, those comics definitely appear to be something Reeves is taking his inspiration from but the photo could provide even more insight into his plans for The Batman.
Between that and other details we'll get to later on in this post, the signs are all pointing to the movie delivering another origin story for Batman. That doesn't necessarily mean it's going to revisit his childhood and the fateful night his parents were shot but it will likely show him suiting up for the first time and returning home after spending years training overseas.
