The Batman Starts Filming: 10 Clues For What We Can Expect

6. Batman Won't Be Going Head To Head With Two-Face

In Affleck's version of The Batman, we would have seen the hero facing Joe Manganiello's Deathstroke but Reeves' plan is to introduce a number of bad guys here and then have them serve as a recurring presence in the franchise as his Gotham City continues to expand over the course of a potential trilogy.

Alas, Two-Face will not be among them. Despite speculation that Peter Sarsgaard would be playing Harvey Dent, it's now been confirmed that he'll actually take on the role of another newly created character: Gotham D.A. Gil Colson.

So, while he's serving as D.A. (a job Dent had before his descent into madness), it seems Colson is either his replacement or his predecessor. The former seems unlikely given how early in Batman's career this movie is obviously taking place but Reeves must have decided that three bad guys was one too many and there's been no word on another actor appearing as Two-Face even for a cameo.
