Whoever sat down and thought it would be a great idea to pair Nirvana's "Something In The Way" with Michael Giacchino's score truly does deserve a raise.

An unorthodox idea on the surface, it instantly created a moody, haunting atmosphere that sticks with the trailer throughout it, building through the reveals of Catwoman, The Penguin and the Batmobile before it hits a goosebump-inducing crescendo right at the end when The Batman logo drops in.

The choice of music in a trailer is everything because it's imperative in setting the tone. And, well, it goes without saying that this choice of music really was everything.
