The Best Moment Of Every James Bond Film - Ranked
11. Tomorrow Never Dies: Motorbike Chase
Pierce Brosnan's criminally underrated second film is full of very fun action scenes, including the remote-control car chase and stealth ship finale, but it's this motorbike chase in the film's second act which stands out as one of the best Bond set-pieces ever. That is saying a hell of a lot too.
This sequence is completely brilliant in every way. It's a consistently suspenseful and inventive chase scene which finds new ways to up the stakes, change the terrain and make it harder and harder for Bond and Wai Lin (Michelle Yeoh), the film's main Bond Girl, to escape from their pursuers. Bond and Lin are also handcuffed together, further adding to the peril.
As the motorbike goes through streets, up stairs, over roofs and even through a room where a couple are getting down to business, it's a breathless, deliriously entertaining spectacle which is further elevated by the presence of Lin. She's arguably one of the best Bond Girls of all time.
