The Best Moment Of Every MCU Film - Ranked
16. Luis’ Story – Ant-Man
While Ant-Man was a slightly questionable choice to close out Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sneaking in just behind Age of Ultron, it was still a surprisingly fun entry into the franchise. Naturally, Paul Rudd is his usual wonderfully charming self, but here it is Michael Peña who steals the show.
Throughout the movie, Luis is simply hilarious. His fast talking, unique style and almost ever-present smile have solidified his status as a fan favourite, but it was his story of where the tip about Hank Pym's unguarded safe came from that truly elevated him to the realms of a legendary, iconic character.
When specifically asked for just the facts, Luis launched into his story about the wine tasting with his cousin Ernesto and the rosé that saved the day. The scene is unique, with Luis speaking for each character, and is so much fun to watch, particularly when the entire thing is summed up in just four words by Kurt anyway.
We were even treated to another of his stories at the very end of the movie, something that teased the introduction of Spider-Man to the MCU for the very first time, and again in Ant-Man and the Wasp. This has become a staple of the Ant-Man franchise, and simply must be featured in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as well.
