Nolan speaks out about THE DARK KNIGHT in 3D

Peter here... I keep checking every day, but I still can't book tickets yet for The Dark Knight at Manchester's IMAX yet. It's going to be my first visit to the IMAX theatre and I can't fucking wait!

Yesterday a new so called "IMAX featurette" went live over at the ComCast site for the movie. Director Christopher Nolan discusses the reasons behind shooting 4 action sequences in the movie using the IMAX technology. It includes some never before seen footage such as a cool scene showing Batman interrogating The Joker, as well as a proclamation that "Batman has no limits"... but I won't blabber on any longer, as I doubt anyone really cares what I have to say - so just watch the clip!

PLEASE NOTE: We are currently testing new high quality YouTube videos. If they don't load for you - let us know in the comments!

A behind the scenes feature showing the making of The Joker's Goon's Mask also went live which you can find over on the site.
THE DARK KNIGHT: THE IMAX EXPERIENCE, from Warner Bros. Pictures, will feature four sequences filmed with IMAX® cameras. This marks the first time ever that a major feature film has been even partially shot using IMAX cameras, marking a revolutionary integration of the two film formats.
Have you experienced IMAX yet? Do you think a feature film will transfer well onto the technology? Remember that this is the first feature film that will make full use of IMAX, following on from Superman Returns which had a 20 minute segment converted from 2D to 3D for the format.
