The Dark Knight Rises: 10 Neglected Plot Lines That Should Have Been Developed

8. Catwoman's Relationship To Bane

catwoman_mgdyz Catwoman was definitely one of the highlights of the movie. It's well known that Christopher Nolan didn't want to include her character in the movie, but his brother persuaded him to do so. Despite this he managed to include her in a cool, realistic way with a marvelous story and motivations that made her not only a sympathetic character, but also an incredible Catwoman. But if I should point out a flaw that involved the character it would have to be that we never knew what kind of relationship Bane and Catwoman had. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean relationship in a "romantic" manner, I mean as in how Bane found her and why she was so afraid of him. In the whole movie they're together for only 2 scenes: when she and Batman are on the roof and when she blows him into smithereens. I would've loved to see how he managed to encounter one of the world's most wanted criminals, how he convinced her to work for him and why she began to fear him. For example: Bane met Selina when she was trying to recover her life, she worked for him a couple of times but as time came by she realized Bane was much more dangerous that he thought. She tries to get away but Bane almost kills her, so she makes a deal with him to bring Batman in exchange for her life. There, I know it isn't awful but at least that would've given us a much more interesting character development and it would've shown us a pretty cool fight scene between Bane and Catwoman.
