Fun Fact: Anne Hathaway did not want to be Catwoman. Not out of any dislike of the character, far from it - she felt she couldnt do the role justice after Michelle Pfeiffer, and thankfully she took on the role and she proved herself wrong. Anne Hathaway brought a new dimension to the character, and succeeded in getting the hairball that was Halle Berrys portrayal out of the publics mouth. Was she insane? No. Was she obsessed? No, she didnt have to be: Hathaways Catwoman was what she truly wanted to be, a remarkably good thief with an almost accidental cat disguise. Her Catwoman was the true female lead in The Dark Knight Rises.
