2. Predator, Kindergarten Cop & Commando Quotes

As we mentioned in our critique of EX3, by this point in the franchise, Arnold Schwarzenegger has pretty much become a walking quotation machine, useful mainly for reminding us that he used to be an awesome badass rather than doing any new and awesome badass things to continue his legacy. Still, his relentless quipping does score a few easy laughs as he recalls these lines from some of his most beloved movies: - "Look out for the chopper!" A reference to the infamous "Get to the chopper!" quote from Predator. - "Good morning." One of the most memorable lines from Arnie's zany dark comedy Kindergarten Cop. - "Let's get to the chopper!" Again, a Predator call-back (did we really need it twice?) - Finally, Barney says to Trench, "I thought you retired", to which he replies, "I lied." This is a clear reference to Arnie's hilarious exchange with Sully in Commando. "You know Sully when I promised to kill you last?" "That's right Matrix, you did." "I lied", followed by him dropping Sully to his death. Amazing.
