12. Wesley Snipes Tax Evasion Gag

Once Doc is brought into the fold and spends a few moments gassing with Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), the question abounds as to how he ended up in jail. Toll asks, "So, why'd you get locked away?", to which Doc hilariously replies, with a menacing grimace, "Tax evasion", as Toll and Gunner look confused at one another. This is obviously a reference to Snipes' real-life imprisonment for willful failure to file federal income tax returns, or as most people commonly refer to it, tax evasion. Snipes is already one of the most entertaining aspects of EX3, and for him to so willingly poke fun at his real life problems shows an incredibly game attitude as he arrives back on the action movie scene. It also happens to be one of the funniest lines in the entire movie.
