11. Bernie Mac

When talking to Toll and Gunner about their fallen Expendables comrades, Doctor Death uses he phrase "jangle leg", which may just seem like mumbled nonsense to most viewers, though it happens to be the name of Bernie Mac's character in the 1999 movie Life (who speaks his own name repeatedly throughout the movie), and is most certainly a tribute to his late friend. Snipes even uses the same inflection as Mac used in the movie to make the name sound like the word "jingling". As if that wasn't proof enough that the reference was intentional, Snipes uses it again twice more throughout the movie, admittedly in a fashion that barely makes sense at all.
