6. Keep Silver Surfer Out... For Now

The Silver Surfer is a pretty cool character. He has an intriguing back story, cosmic powers, and was once the herald of a guy who eats worlds as a hobby. The Fantastic Four is already a pretty large scale story, what with the inter-dimensional travel and all, and bringing in the Surfer now would be another classic example of "too much, too soon". Despite what happened last time around, the next FF film may even be too soon to bring in Silver Surfer. If the first two rebooted movies are home runs, Silver Surfer could certainly be a boon to a third. If Skrulls or Galactus end up getting involved, the silver one could be woven seamlessly into the plot. The best bet would be to make a solid trilogy and use the third film to set up a possible spinoff Surfer film.
