The Fate Of Every Member Of The Warriors

The cocky Ajax gets his comeuppance big time in the film. A heavy muscle member of The Warriors, Ajax loves to fight and has a nasty side to him that aids this blood lust. But the nastiness fuels lust of all sorts and he's nabbed by the cops when he sexually assaults an undercover officer in the park. She blows her whistle for backup and a struggling Ajax is subdued by officers who arrive on the scene and hit him with their clubs.

That's the last of Ajax we see in the movie but he's the main character in the follow-up comic Jailbreak. Set a couple of months after the night that Cyrus was shot, we discover that Ajax is still in a low-security prison. At odds in the film, the rift between Ajax and Swan is delved into. We see that Swan beat in a fight for the title of Warchief, a loss that Ajax refused to accept. Swan walked away before Cleon told him not to leave a Warrior behind.

It is this lesson that is ringing inside Swan's head when he organises a jailbreak to get Ajax out. Meanwhile, Ajax is feuding with an unnamed Baseball Fury in prison, whom he ridicules regularly. The Fury doesn't take this nicely and bitterly tries to get back on Ajax, taking his taunts about lacking facepaint so personally that he carves his own face with scissors to resemble the Makeup fury. He later stabs Ajax in the back with these scissors.

When Swan is busting Ajax out and the prison is in flames, the Fury confronts Ajax once more. They fight and Ajax stabs him to death with the scissors. Later, he thanks Swan and accepts him as Warlord.

The video game further delves into Ajax's past, showing how he came to join The Warriors.
