The Fate Of Every Member Of The Warriors

2. Rembrandt

Warriors group
Paramount Pictures

The softest Warrior of the group, Rembrandt is the gang's graffiti artist, tagging locations with their name. The film shows him to be short and relatively reserved.

He's not as impulsive as his fellow gang members and this trait came in handy when The Lizzies attempt to slash Vermin and Cochise. Rembrandt didn't partake in the smooching and canoodling because he sensed that something was off. While he's not much of a fighter, he does use his spray can to attack one of The Punks later in the film. He makes it home to Coney Island as a surviving member.

In Jailbreak, we see Rembrandt's arc develop. He's one of the few Warriors with prospects. A talented artist, he attends art classes and has clearly won the admiration of his teacher. For whatever reason, he stops attending the classes and ends up seeing his teacher, a kindhearted man, on the subway when he's out with The Warriors.

The teacher tries to tell him to steer clear of gang life but Rembrandt gets defensive. Although his position in the gang strengthens throughout the comic, it may be at the cost of a better way of life.
