During the same fire-side sequence that sees the Jaws reference, Butch's fellow rancher (and probably daughter, though it isn't really established openly) Ramsey (voiced by Anna Paquin) tells the story of how she lost the tip of her tail. Her story is basically a rehash of the 127 Hours story, with her announcing that she liteally got the tip of her tail caught between "a rock and a hard place" and had to chew her way free.
