7. Chapter 1 - Last Stage To Red Rock

The story takes place on a Wyoming mountain range, as Major Warren sits in the middle of a road on top of 3 dead white guys whose bounties he is collecting. O.B., driving a stagecoach, meets him on the chilly road, where Warren is introduced to the coach's passenger, "The Hangman" John Ruth, as well as his female prisoner, Daisy Domergue, who Ruth is transporting to the town of Red Rock in order to be hanged. Ruth agrees to give him a lift, and after some discussion, a fight breaks out between Warren and Daisy, after she spits on his letter from Abraham Lincoln (they were pen pals). Basically, Daisy gets beat up a lot in this story. Soon enough they come across another man in the snow, causing Ruth to handcuff Warren out of paranoia that he might actually be trying to free Daisy and shake him down.
