The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey New Images Reveal Gollum & Galadriel

10 new images from Peter Jackson's first of two epic prequels...

Entertainment Weekly have released a bunch of brand new and exclusive images from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, in their latest cover issue. The film, which according to Peter Jackson's most recent video blog must be just about coming to the end of filming now, is expected to have several reveals at Comic Con later this month, including the likely unveil of a new trailer. You can check out the full set of images and the Entertainment Weekly cover in our gallery below. Look out for the best image yet of Gollum from The Hobbit, who looks significantly upgraded from the first trilogy, now even more photo realistic. There's also a look at Cate Blanchett, who looks like she hasn't aged a day from the last time she played Galadriel a decade ago. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, opening in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D, comes to theaters on December 14th. Meanwhile Warner Bros Pictures have announced that the premiere for €œThe Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey€ will take place on November 28th, in New Zealand.
