The Hunger Games: 12 Actresses Who Could Have Been Katniss Everdeen

9. Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts (10) The daughter of Eric Roberts and niece of his more famous sister Julia, Emma Roberts was born into the world of Hollywood, spending much of her early childhood on film sets before taking the lead in a Nickelodeon series, Unfabulous, when she was thirteen years old. The show continued for three seasons, concluding in 2007, after which Roberts took on lead roles in a number of releases aimed at children and young adults. Parts in darker films would eventually follow at the start of the current decade, though Scream 4, despite being profitable, would be released to little fanfare. Having not gotten the role of Katniss, Roberts has continued to show up on the big screen, though it is perhaps the small screen on which she will achieve her breakout, having been cast in a television pilot, Delirium, which is under consideration for airing next season on Fox.
