1. It's Never As Good As Its Opening 15 Minutes
Quite a lot of films have fallen into the unfortunate trap of having a stellar opening and then never quite managing to pick the interest curve up again.
That's very much the case with The Hunt, which starts with a delirious, brilliant bang and then flirts with the high point a few times without really getting there. Certainly not in any sustained way. The issue, somewhat inevitably, is that it sort of runs out of things to do once the opening is over.
Without spoiling anything, had they not quite gone so big, we could have had a longer, flatter high interest curve.
And now to the positives...
