The Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer shown at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home was all kinds of brilliant, showcasing some of the sheer insanity that will be showcased in Sam Raimi's upcoming picture. But now, with new Multiverse of Madness footage debuting at Super Bowl LVI, there's even more to be excited about.

In this trailer, the major takeaway for long-time comics fans was that the Illuminati are soon to become a part of MCU lore.

With Strange escorted by Ultronbots - yes, Ultronbots! - to a grand throne room in this Super Bowl trailer, audiences were left in shock at hearing the dulcet tones of what is clearly Sir Patrick Stewart's Charles Xavier. With that, Professor X proclaims, "We should tell him the truth" - with the we indicating Xavier is referring to a group of people.

There appear to be six seats in front of Benedict Cumberbatch's Master of the Mystic Arts here, with only a shoulder of Xavier visible in this footage. Speculation is rampant that Professor X will be joined by a range of heroes, from Namor to Black Panther, to Black Bolt, to Mister Fantastic, to Baron Mordo, to Captain Marvel, to Captain Peggy Carter, to Monica Rambeau, to Nova, to the Human Torch, to Superior Iron Man.

Yes, Superior Iron Man...
