The Incredibles: Is The Sequel Better Than The Original?

4. Less Mr Incredible

The sequel relegated Mr Incredible to a supporting character behind Elastigirl, and this is not a bad thing. The latter shone as the main character, both as Elastigirl and as Helen Parr, and the film didn't seem to miss Mr Incredible's presence.

The only problem is that for the majority of the movie, we get Bob Parr instead of Mr Incredible, and it turns out Bob can be a bit of a d*ck. He is egotistical, and believes he should be in the spotlight instead of his wife. The mere thought of Helen being chosen over him was unbelievable to Bob, and he certainly lacked the charm that made him so lovable in the first movie.
