The Mandalorian: 5 Actors Who Could Play Thrawn

Probably best known for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, Jason Isaacs is another well-known British actor who could lend his talents to bringing Thrawn to life.

We know he can do villains well, but he also has the charisma to bring a certain charm to embody a villain that is not only feared (or hated), but respected.

And while he has a place in Hollywood, we know that he doesn't shy away from working in big-budget television, having played Captain Lorca in the first season of Star Trek: Discovery.

What's more, he’s also featured in the Star Wars universe already, lending his voice to the Grand Inquisitor on Star Wars Rebels, and he's even expressed interest in playing the character in live-action.

Isaacs is another big fan of the franchise, and it would be great to see him play the Grand Admiral.
