The Matrix Resurrections: 25 WTF Moments

6. The Final Showdown Starts In... A Coffee Shop

The Matrix Resurrections
Warner Bros.

Given the utterly epic showdowns of the previous Matrix films - especially Revolutions - it was reasonable to expect a similarly operatic setting for Resurrections' final battle.

But alas, Neo ends up facing off against the Analyst in... a damn coffee shop of all things, and one called Simulatte no less.

Neo meets up with the Analyst and dozens of his lackeys as they prepare to see whether or not Trinity/Tiffany will reject the Matrix. After hesitating, Trinity accepts her past life and helps Neo as a battle with the Analyst's goons kicks off.

But the Analyst uses his time-slowing powers to interrupt the carnage, grabbing a gun and preparing to shoot Trinity.

However he is himself interrupted by Smith, who forms a brief and unexpected alliance with the heroes and shoots the Analyst, temporarily disabling him.
