4. The Cast Is Weirdly Uninteresting

Despite the movie featuring a rather talented roster of actors - most promisingly Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen and Thomas Jane - this teaser makes virtually no effort to sell the audience on these actors and their personalities.

In fact, aside from Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay and Olivia Munn, most of the other actors only appear for a scattered shot or two, giving us little inkling of their roles in the movie.

Holbrook is a generally likeable, charming actor, but he comes across fairly wooden and generic here, and Munn seems to be merely filling the "token attractive female in mostly-male action movie" role.

Obviously future trailers could (and should) expand on these characters and provide more intrigue, but it's not a great first impression.
