The Predator Trailer 2: 9 Things You Might Have Missed

4. Onboard The Predator Ship

Considering that the gauntlet does look to control the ship, it makes it all the more interesting that Holbrook appears to be on the ship for portions of the trailer. Starting with the shot at the 2:05 mark, Holbrook is clearly involved in some sort of shootout on that actual Yautja ship.

Which is kind of a huge deal.

The only time before in the entire history of the Predator franchise that a human has boarded a Yautja ship would be when Danny Glover did it in Predator 2 for the final fight sequence. And that sequence was admittedly lackluster and involved a whole lot of poor green screening, cropped shots to hide the stage dressing, and a whole lot of fog to cover everything up.

So for the new film to finally give audiences the chance to see a proper fight sequence on a Yautja ship is a thrilling tease to throw into the trailer. From the brief glimpses we do get of the interior of the ship in the trailer, the design this time around looks much more in keeping with the muted greys and harsh reds of the Predator's aesthetic.
