Shelbyville is a city often mentioned by the citizens of Springfield but rarely visited by them and for a reason — the rivalry between the two cities is intense and insane. It's a lot of fun, then, when The Simpsons' Lemon of Troy allows the characters to visit Shelbyville, making for a seriously great episode. Why not have a Simpsons movie dedicated to the rivalry between Springfield and Shelbyville?

This could be especially fun because the picture could feature a Shelbyville counterpart for every main character of The Simpsons. Lemon of Troy had a Shelbyville counterpart of Bart, Milhouse, Nelson, Martin, Moe, Groundskeeper Willie, Homer and Abe — how about a Shelbyville counterpart for Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner, Krusty the Clown, and more?

This movie could have so much fun being creative with further defining the city of Shelbyville.

The premise is just filled with so much potential for meta jokes on The Simpsons, and given how classic of an episode Lemon of Troy ended up being, an entire movie based on the city of Shelbyville could make for an absolutely memorable time.
