The Single Biggest Mistake Each Fast & Furious Film Has Made

6. Fast Five - It's Far Too Overlong

Without a shadow of a doubt, the franchise's fifth film is the crown jewel of the series.

With a killer cast, a scene-stealing performance from Dwayne Johnson, terrific direction from Justin Lin, a hilarious and heart-warming screenplay and dazzling white-knuckle action sequences, Fast Five is pure and utter joy that will leave you grinning from ear to ear.

The only real problem is that it goes on for too long. The 130-minute run-time is definitely felt at times and the film really should've shaved off 15-20 minutes of the movie.

Unfortunately, the franchise has made this same mistake in literally every subsequent instalment. In regards to the franchise's renaissance period (i.e. this movie and every subsequent instalment) it's arguable that the films being overlong is the biggest issue, so sadly Fast Five did start off an unfortune trend for the series.

Still a great movie though.
