The Single Biggest Mistake Each Fast & Furious Film Has Made

3. The Fate Of The Furious - The Sluggish Second Act

Thor: Love and Thunder
Universal

This is a much underrated instalment. It's been divisive with fans but it really deserves another chance.

Not only does the film boast golden action sequences and charismatic performances galore, but it's actually got a more interesting and twisty plot than... well, any of the other movies. The whole story-line about Dom going rogue is a lot better-written than most probably predicted.

The main problem with it is that it does dip a fair bit in the middle and drags during this section. It's followed by an insane third act, so the film compensates and then some, but the slow middle act is still pretty distracting. Perhaps trimming the film down would've solved this issue.

Still, aside from this, a disappointing lead villain and the jarring way in which the characters seem to forget that Deckard Shaw killed Han, this is a very enjoyable movie and one of the franchise's best. Give it another go.
