The Single Greatest Thing In Each MCU Movie

There are many excellent things in this much-underrated MCU entry, such as the lovely screenplay and some wonderfully creative action sequences, but in the end, the film's star was its biggest asset.

Paul Rudd, who's mainly a comedy actor, seemed like a bit of an odd choice for Ant-Man... that is, until the film arrived and he gave a note-perfect performance that brushed aside any pre-release worries.

Rudd's Ant-Man is a joyous and loveable character with an infectious warmth and energy, as well as a really nice underdog vibe to him. He effortlessly carries the entire film and turned Ant-Man, who wasn't a hugely famous Marvel hero before this, into one of the MCU's best and most beloved heroes. He's continued to be great in every subsequent appearance too.

Let's hope Rudd stays with the franchise for many, many years to come.
