This thrilling and beautifully constructed MCU thrill-ride is one of the franchise's best achievements and while there are many great things within it, such as the terrific plot and awesome cast, it's the action that you'll remember the most.

The action scenes in Civil War are incredibly thrilling, tense and superbly-directed by the Russo Brothers, but more importantly the spectacle is rooted in the film's emotional drama and that makes the set-pieces hit much harder.

The action sequences, most prominently the epic final showdown between Iron Man and Captain America, are used to reflect the drama and character relationships within the movie and these emotional stakes really raise these set-pieces to the next level. It's a film that uses action to tell the story and it does that remarkably well.

Also, who can forget the airport scene? That was truly glorious in every sense.
