The Single Greatest Thing In Each MCU Movie

3. Spider-Man: Far From Home - The Drones Scene

This final film in the Infinity Saga is superior to Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel, but it's still another forgettable and safe work in which it never feels like anyone's in danger. Therefore, it's yet another MCU disappointment (that critics were strangely generous to, yet again).

In terms of the best thing in it, the cast are as good as ever and the mid-credits scene is great, but the one thing that really stands out as a highlight of the entire MCU is this incredible scene in which main villain Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) uses his advanced projections to trap Spider-Man in an elaborate illusion.

This entire sequence is a visually stunning and brilliantly inventive set-piece with a wonderfully trippy vibe to it, making it one of the best scenes in the MCU. It features many incredible shots, an army of Mysterios, a zombie Iron Man, Spider-Man fighting an army of Spider-Man clones and even becoming trapped in a snow-globe.

The scene then ends with a chilling moment where Mysterio disguises himself as Nick Fury and tricks Peter into putting his love interest and best friend in danger.

So yes, the film itself is completely inessential, but it does still contain one of the best superhero movie scenes of all time, so that's something.
