The Single Greatest Thing In Each MCU Movie

Thor is another disappointing MCU film and an overall mediocre work. It suffers heavily from annoying side characters, a chemistry-free central romance and terrible action scenes, but it does get one incredibly important thing right: the hero's journey.

Much like Iron Man before it, this does a wonderful job of turning a real D-bag into a noble hero everyone will root for. It's a very well-told and heartfelt character arc that comes to an absolutely triumphant conclusion, and the terrific Chris Hemsworth nailed it every step of the way too.
