1. It Should've Ended 20 Minutes Sooner

You know what's even worse than a boring movie? A boring movie that outstays its welcome. That is certainly true of The Snowman, which reveals the identity of the killer almost half-an-hour before the end of the film, but drags on with a walking-through-treacle finale that eschews several attempts to wrap itself up neatly.

There's no world in which this film needed to be 119 minutes long, and while sub-two-hours doesn't seem like a particularly long time, as the late, great Roger Ebert once said, "No good movie is too long and no bad movie is short enough." Too true.

And though the film is a torturous dumpster fire almost across the board, there is one thing it gets totally right...
