The Suicide Squad: Ranking Every Death From Worst To Best
4. Javelin
While on the chopper from the US to Corto Maltese, the super villain known as Javelin seemed to spark some sort of connection with Harley Quinn, even if it was only over his accent. This was enough to add another dimension to his death, however.
Like many of the team, Javelin was caught in the crossfire on the beach, however he was able to hang on just a little before he died. In this time, he was able to pass the weapon from which he took his name onto Harley, though he couldn’t tell her exactly why or what for.
Harley hilariously slapped him in the face trying to get answers, but only when coming face to eye with Starro the Conqueror did she realise the purpose she had been given by her falling comrade.
It’s impossible to say why Javelin deemed her the one best fit to carry his weapon. Was it her reputation? The fact that she was physically closest to him at the time? That they bonded over his accent on the chopper?
Either way, Javelin’s death was really the only one on the beach that had any impact on the movie further down the line.
