The Suicide Squad Trailer Breakdown: 23 Things You Must See

9. Just How Great Does Peter Capaldi Look?!

After a blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance in the background of the trailer's opening shot, we finally get a full-on look at Peter Capaldi gloriously made up as Clifford DeVoe, aka The Thinker.

He may look like quite the oddball here, but make no mistake about it: The Thinker is a big, big deal.

For those fans of the Grant Gustin-headlined Flash TV series, you'll be well aware of how dangerous a presence DeVoe can be. A super intelligent being with the abilities of telekinesis and mind control, The Thinker has posed quite the problem for the Scarlet Speedster and so many other DC heroes over the years.

Here in The Suicide Squad, it's Task Force X who are mildly butting heads with DeVoe - threatening to kill him if they fail their mission, if he gives them false information, if he has personalised license plates or even if he coughs without covering his mouth.
