The World’s End: 10 Reasons to Be Excited

3. Edgar Wright€™s Direction

I love Wright€™s direction. I love the crazy, frenetic style; I love the performances he pulls from his casts; I love the way in which he assembles his stories. He€™s a major player these days of course and relatively recently, with Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, he fully graduated into the Hollywood red carpet mainstream. It€™s great to see Wright returning to his roots before he goes off to make Ant-Man; to see him back where he (arguably) belongs, doing high end British comedy. I€™m a close follower of Wright€™s and when he makes a movie, I€™m there regardless of review scores or word of mouth. He€™s just that kind of director. Of course, you€™ve always got to reserve final judgement until you€™ve actually seen the movie, but for me, with Wright€™s current track record, I€™m already fairly certain The World€™s End is going to be mind-blowing.
