The Worst Moment Of Every James Bond Film - Ranked

19. On Her Majesty's Secret Service - Draco Being A Creep

The World Is Not Enough
United Artists

On Her Majesty's Secret Service is a sublime entry in the Bond series that is generally a pleasure to watch, but there are always exceptions.

The moment where Bond (George Lazenby) says "This never happened to the other fellow" is a terrible fourth-wall-breaking moment and some of the scenes involving the women at Blofeld's clinic are quite jarring, but the worst part by far is any scene involving Marc-Ange Draco (Gabriele Ferzetti), the father of main Bond Girl Tracy (Diana Rigg).

If you haven't seen the movie in a while, you'll be taken aback by just how much of a goddamn creep Draco is. Tracy is having psychological problems and he tells Bond that she needs a man to dominate her and offers him one million pounds to marry her.

He also goes on about how she must obey her husband throughout the film, he slaps her when she refuses to leave Blofeld's compound without Bond and finally, he actually gives Bond the million pounds at his and Tracy's wedding. Luckily, even the 1960s James Bond isn't quite that creepy and gives the money back.

Not only has this all aged horribly, but it comes dangerously close to undermining Bond and Tracy's mostly fantastic relationship too.
