The Worst Moment Of Every James Bond Film - Ranked

17. Skyfall - Sex Slave Seduction

The World Is Not Enough
MGM

Since Skyfall is one of the best Bond films ever, this particular scene stands as one of the worst scenes you'll ever see in a great film. This was the most problematic James Bond scene since... well, come to think of it, since the 1970s.

In a casino, Bond meets Severine (Berenice Marlohe), an ally of main villain Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem), and works out that she has been a sex slave all her life - it's mentioned that she was sold into slavery at the age of 12. So, what does he do? After defeating some bad guys, he goes to her boat, sneaks into the shower with her and seduces her. It's just as creepy and uncomfortable as it sounds.

It's understandable that they wanted a sex scene in the film, since Judi Dench's M is the focus of Skyfall as opposed to an actual Bond Girl, but this was not the right way to do it.
