Praise the lord! This has to happen. We insist that it happens. Please, Marvel, make it happen. The "romance" between Thor and Jane Foster has been one of the most contrived relationships ever depicted in a comic book movie. Natalie Portman's character felt like nothing more than filler in the first Thor movie and, although she played a more worthwhile role in Thor: The Dark World (she helped to save the universe), we still can't help thinking that Sif is better suited as a love interest for the titular god of thunder. Portman doesn't like portraying Foster and Marvel should sever ties with her quickly. If the Enchantress is going to be a thorn in Thor's side in this movie, Thor needs a girlfriend who can kick her ass - and that's Sif. Have Foster killed as she dabbles with forces well beyond her control and paygrade. Or at least break off the terrible relationship she has with the titular hero and be done with her.
