Thor 3: 10 Things We Expect To See

6. Hel

When Loki was apparently dying in Thor: The Dark World, he said to Kurse (who was the one who had apparently killed him) "I'll see you in hell!" Or did he? The likelihood is that he was actually referencing "Hel" - the lowest of the nine realms and a place for souls to go in the afterlife. It is not necessarily a horrible place - some of it is quite heavenly and utopian, while other areas are what you would expect a place called "Hel" to be like - dark, gloomy and fiery. It is simply a place where dead people go, not a place of eternal torture. If Loki is actually killed off in this movie - or even if he isn't (as living beings can venture to Hel) - it would be a cool touch if he did actually see Kurse in Hel. Not to mention the fact that Hel is a key component in some cool stories and is associated with a couple of other entries on this list.
