Thor: Love And Thunder - 9 Villains Christian Bale Could Play

2. Dario Agger

Christian Bale Mephisto
Marvel Comics

The CEO of Roxxon Energy Corporation, Agger was granted supernatural abilities as a child. His family owned a small island in the Aegean Sea, and when it was attacked by gunmen and his family was killed, young Dario fled into a nearby cave, whereupon he found a statue. In his desperation, he promptly prayed to this statue, asking for vengeance for his family. Little did he know, he made a pact with a dark god, and was bestowed with the power to transform into a Minotaur.

As an adult, Agger would ascend to the position of Roxxon's CEO, wherein he would pursue profit above all else, polluting the environment with reckless abandon, and hiring lawyers and lobbyists to steamroll over anyone who dared stand in his way.

While Jane Foster's comic origins have nothing to do with Agger, perhaps they could attribute her cancer to Roxxon's environmental pollution. Roxxon has been a background presence in the MCU for years now, and perhaps it's time to push its mastermind into the spotlight.

It would also be interesting to see a human villain in a Thor film. It'd be doubly interesting because Agger represents real, pressing issues such as environmental pollution, corporate corruption, and greed.
