Thor: Love And Thunder - Both Post-Credits Scenes EXPLAINED

6. Zeus Is Alive!

Despite being impaled by his own weapon about halfway through the movie, the first post-credits sequence begins with the revelation that Russell Crowe's Zeus is alive (if not well).

Being nursed back to health, Zeus' miraculous recovery is a pretty major surprise. When we saw him last he looked pretty definitively dead, and Thor and co. even worry about the fact that their killing of the most beloved god in all the realms will put a target on their back. That was a tantalising tease, setting up a future story where Thor is hunted as a god outlaw for murdering one of his own kind in cold blood.

That no longer seems to be the case, with the two "deaths" featured in the confrontation being rolled back (the other, of course, being Korg).

However, Zeus being alive doesn't mean the god of thunder isn't going to face some consequences...
